Capco and M&C Saatchi Experience, On Tour at Cannes

Every year in the south of France, Cannes is inundated with suits of all shapes and sizes. MIPIM is the industry leading real estate exhibition, conference and networking event. It attracts 24,200 participants including the most influential property players and leaders from 100 countries across the globe. It’s only natural that our client, Capital & Counties Properties PLC (Capco) – one of the largest listed property companies in central London – would have a presence there. And we didn’t have just any old space, but a prime position beside the beach, overlooking the sea.
We brought Capco’s key assets of Covent Garden and Earls Court estates to life through installation of 3D architectural models, graphic panels and inbuilt TV screens displaying marketing videos. The screens were also used by the development team and senior management team as presentation tools, housing a variety of content which could be selected via the touch screen panels, depending on the topic at hand.
As their properties are built to the highest of standards, and indeed the services within these properties are seamless and consistent, we needed to reflect this in both our production and service offering within Capco’s exhibition space. It had to be versatile and stylish so it could be used for meetings, receptions, bar service and hospitality.
We took advantage of the beautiful natural light in our design by using light, reflective surfaces with black contrast. The smells and taste of Capco barista coffee along with the subtle scent of fresh flowers, the gentle sea breeze and the ambient, relaxing playlist created a multi-sensory experience to differentiate the Capco space from competitors.
